***FIRST DRAFT***

JON: Hey Google, I want to make chocolate chip cookies.

CC: Hey! It’s CookieCoach, your personal cookie baking assistant and cookie coach. Do you want to get started on baking the best Chocolate Chip Cookies ever?

JON: Sure

CC: Sweet! Let’s do a quick ingredient check first. You want me to e-mail them to you or would you like me to read them off?

JON: Read them off

CC: Do you have one cup of softened butter?

JON: Yes

(Reads off all the other ingredients)

CC: Let’s get to baking those chocolate chip cookies! We’re going to go through it step-by-step. First thing’s first, preheat your oven to 350 degrees (wait for X minutes, or wait for them to confirm)

JON: Ok

CC: Next. We’re going to cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.

JON: What is creaming?

CC: Creaming just means mixing your butter and sugar together until well blended.

JON: Uh oh. I don’t have butter…

CC: Oh no! You can replace it with an equal amount of vegetable oil if you have it.

JON: Great. I have that.

CC: Let me know once you’re done!

JON: I’m done.

CC: Beat the eggs in one at a time, then stir in the vanilla

JON: I did it.

CC: Dissolve baking soda in hot water.

JON: Next.

CC: Add the dissolved baking soda and the salt.

JON: Ok.

CC: Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts.

JON: Now what?

CC: Drop by the spoonful onto ungreased pans.

JON: Next.

CC: Last but not least, bake them for 10 minutes until the edges are a golden brown. Do you want me to set a timer?

JON: Ok.

CC: [Timer sound plays] The cookies are ready. I bet they’re delicious.

JON: Thank you.

CC: How did they turn out?

JON: Great.

CC: That’s amazing! When you want to make another batch of cookies, just say you want to talk to CookieCoach. Enjoy the cookies. Bye!
